Instigator and patron Mayor Alexander Badrow strives to make Stralsund shine in the truest sense of the word. The initiative started in 2020 with five large stars providing light and cheerfulness during the darkest time of year. Since then, 20 stars were added - a veritable flood of stars. The seven-metre structures are made by the masson company located on the outskirts of town.
